How to add Google contacts on MacBook

In the standard Contacts application on the MacBook, you can connect a Google Account. This connection is two-way. If you add a new contact on the MacBook – it will be copied to the Google server and vice versa.

Contacts on the server can be seen here: contacts.google.com

How to setup your Google account in the Contacts app

  1. Open the Contacts app
  2. To add account click Contacts – Accounts
  3. Choose Google
  4. Enter name and password
  5. Enable the contacts checkbox
  6. Loading contacts, wait
  7. Now you have all contacts

 

How to delete account in the Contacts app

  1. To add account click Contacts – Accounts
  2. To delete account – click minus button
  3. Account deleted, but contacts still on Google server
